Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you’ve been carrying a lot on your own. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and able to show up fully as yourself.

My Background

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Baruch College in New York City. I have worked in eating disorder treatment across multiple levels of care, including residential, partial hospitalization, and outpatient settings. This experience shaped how I understand not just symptoms, but the deeper emotional and relational patterns that often sit underneath them. I also bring lived experience as someone in recovery from an eating disorder, which allows me to approach this work with additional understanding, empathy, and nuance.

My Approach

I take an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy, drawing from evidence-based modalities based on your individual needs rather than a one-size-fits-all method. My work is grounded in:

  • Trauma-informed care

  • Relational and attachment-based therapy

  • CBT and ACT-informed strategies when helpful

  • Exploring emotional patterns, not just symptom management

Rather than focusing only on behaviors or diagnoses, I work to understand how your experiences, relationships, and internal world shape the way you move through life.

Values in My Work

I practice from a Health at Every Size (HAES)-informed framework grounded in the belief that all bodies deserve respect and dignity. I strive to create a space that is inclusive, affirming, and attentive to the ways identity, culture, and lived experience shape mental health — including body diversity, LGBTQIA+ identities, racial and cultural identity, neurodiversity, and varied belief systems.

A Human-First Approach to Therapy

Therapy is not about performing wellness or having everything figured out before you begin. I show up with warmth, honesty, and curiosity, while creating space for both depth and lightness when it naturally arises. At the center of my work is a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, steady, collaborative, and real. From there, we can begin to understand what’s keeping you stuck and what it might look like to move through life differently. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You just need a willingness to begin.
